Rob Palmer Photo of Bald Eagles
One available

As described by the Audubon Magazine, via archive.audubonmagazine:

GRAND PRIZE
Photographer: Rob Palmer
Species: Bald Eagle
Where: Farmington Bay, UT
Camera: Canon Mark III; Canon 500 mm lens with 1.4 teleconverter; 1/800@ f/6.3; ISO 400

Rob Palmer modestly chalks up his Grand Prize–winning shot (appearing on the January-February 2010 cover) to “being in the right place at the right time. I was photographing out my car window on a cold morning, and I was the only photographer there,” says the former biology teacher and current professional photographer. “I think this is a once-in-a-lifetime shot. I’d be very surprised if I ever get another one like it.”

Dedication and signature by Rob Palmer

This dedicated and signed photograph of Bald Eagles, talons-to-talons in flight, was the Grand Prize winning photo in National Audubon's first ever photo awards. Dedicated to the chapter (see photo above) and signed, this is definitely a one of a kind photograph. The photograph measures 10 1/2 by 14 inches with about a 1/4 inch margin. Available elsewhere unsigned or dedicated, this print sells for $100.00, and is offered here for $125.00, plus sales tax and shipping, if applicable.

"Return to Penn's Woods"
Mark Anderson

Signed and numbered limited edition prints, these were the centerpiece artwork that helped fund the Peregrine Falcon reintroduction project by the chapter from 1993 through 1997. In all, the chapter funded, purchased, reared and released 21 falcons in downtown Williamsport, PA. Mark Anderson, a Pittsburgh area wildlife artist, donated all rights to the chapter to print and distribute this beautiful depiction of a peregrine near a cliff face overlooking a river. The print measures 20 1/2 by 27 1/2 inches with an image size of 16 1/2 by 23 1/2 inches. Originally selling for $80.00, the print is now offered for $45.00. The print will be shipped in a mailing tube or other arrangements can be made, just ask. All remaining prints have low numbers, with 1 through 99 and 131 through 169 available, and a specific number can be requested, subject to availability at the time of the order.
